Find your Brand Heart

To kick things off we will delve into the heart of your brand's identity.  We will work together to understand and define a key set of beliefs and principles for your business.  Your purpose (why you're here), your vision (the future you want to make real), your mission (your game plan for making that future happen) and your values (the rules you'll never break, no matter what). It's like your brand's DNA - totally unique and makes you, you.

Identify and Understand your Target Audience

Next we will get to know your target audience and create your audience personas.  We will look at things like age, location, gender, income and interests - but the real gold is in understanding their behaviours, needs and pain points.  The aim is to get a clear picture of who they are, what they want, and how your product or service fits into their lives. It's all about putting on their shoes and seeing the world from their perspective.

Develop your Brand Messaging

Next we will uncover your brand's personality, voice, and tone.  This might feel like a big task, but it's more about discovery than creation. We will not need to force these elements. They're already there, embedded in what you do and why you do it. We just need to bring them into the light and use them intentionally!  We will also work on your value proposition and your messaging pillars which will be reinforced through all your channels.

Design your Brand Identity

Now we have defined your brand's heart and message, it's now time to bring it to life visually through logos, fonts, colours and images.  Whether you already have all of some of these already we will, with the help of our designers make sure that your brand identity is unified and consistent, and you have all the elements you need to shape the visual future of your brand.

Create your Brand Guidelines

Your brand guidelines act as a manual, guiding the application of your brand in all content and communication.  Ensuring high standards and consistency can be difficult, especially when you are working with freelancers and external agencies.  We will provide a playbook of instructions including all visual guidelines around logo usage, colours, fonts, imagery and more as well as verbal guidelines around personality and tone, as well as your messaging pillars and value propositions.  Every that is helpful or relevant to ensure that any work produced enhances your brand image, rather than weakens it.
